I’m still learning about myself. Art is one of the ways I make that discovery.
I love experimenting. Sometimes I work with oil, watercolor or acrylic on canvas and paper. Other times, I explore the digital world. Moving between these different ways of making art gives me room to be curious and see what each medium can teach me.
I enjoy drawing many subjects and learning different styles. Bright, happy colors draw me in. They give me a way to express feelings that I don’t always know how to put into words.
Art and science both have a place in how I see the world. I love observing, asking questions and learning. Through art, that curiosity becomes something I can share—a color, a portrait, a pattern or a small detail someone else might connect with.
Creating helps me connect with my emotions, but it also helps me connect with people in a different way. We may look at the same artwork and feel something different. I love that there is room for both experiences.
Learning, observing and teaching are some of the best parts of my life. I want this Journal to be a place where I can share what I’m exploring: the subjects that catch my attention, the styles I’m learning and the feelings behind my work.
I don’t have every answer about who I am as an artist. I’m still learning about me—and I want to leave space for that.
Welcome to my Journal. I’m glad you’re here.
